I read somewhere that if you interrupt the first charge then your battery is pretty much screwed from that point on. My touch says it's "fully charged" but I know that means that it's fully charged as in 80%. It can't be "fully charged" in reality cause it's only been plugged in for about an hour. How long should I wait for it to fully charge up before I start using it?

Any help is much appreciated. I want the MOST battery life out of this thing as possible. THANKS!!

I plugged mine in and after ten minutes it said it was fully charged, though some say it comes a 80% charge

initially non-fully charge screw up Touch's battery? sounds misleading too me.

the iPod Touch battery said to be 80% charged out of box (which was true in my case), so 1 hr is enough for your Touch to be fully charged.
