How long from 'prepared for shipment'?

I ordered a new 16G iPhone on September 19th. I have been checking the order status fairly regularly (OK, every day). I noticed to day that it changed from 'not yet shipped' to 'prepared for shipment'. My question, how long from this status until I can expect it? I would like to have by this weekend.

Does anyone have any insight?

1 to 3 days, they do not ship on weekends. At least in Norway.

I ordered a 2nd iPhone 4 on Saturday. I got an email saying they shipped it today. I don't think you have to wait long.

I ordered mine on 9/28 and there hasn't been a change or notification saying that it is prepared for shipment

Mine took way faster then the estimated shipping time in canada. From the day it was shipped it was on my doorstep in 4 days
