How long Life-Cycle would iPad mini have ?

I heard iPad mini has A5 chip just like iPad2, and that means iPad mini would have 512Mb RAM.

At this points, what i am really concerned about is that Life-Cycle(update) of iPad mini would be really short. (maybe like iPad 1.)

I want to know how you guys think about this issue.
