Well basically i have been an iphone user since the summer the iphone 3g came out and i got the iphone 4 on the day before launch. This september i left att to go to verizon because i was tired of atts bad network and got a blackberry curve. First of all, I CAN NOT STAND IT, second of all, the network is much better but the iphone is the iphone, and i would give up GREAT service for that. But i never believed the verizon iphone rumors and still dont but just incase they do come out with a verizon iphone i would rather get that than the att iphone. Right now the rumors are that it is coming out the day after xmas. I am waiting till about jan 2nd and then i am going to get the att iphone 4 if it doesnt come out on verizon by then. If it comes out within 30 days can I switch back to verizon with no penalties? Thanks in advance.

If you wait and buy one from Verizon, you are buying an unknown.
This is one of the most precarious times ever for the iPhone.
Yet that said they are selling like hotcakes, which proves little johnny will eat anything.... ha..ha.ha...

I think it is the best phone they ever made, I had the antenna issue on my old one, but I always had a case on it(for protection even if there was no issue) and since the firmware update it was fine. Right now my blackberry battery lasts five hours on standby.
I disagree entirely. I think it's the best, and I haven't' had any problems. I'm confused by your "buying an unknown" statement. Apple products are quality - not sure what you're seeing there.

Before you make your next purchase decision, be sure to wait for the Apple announcement on what the next iPhone will be. As far as penalties for switching and switching back from the different carriers, that is something you'll have to talk to them about prior to doing this.

You may want to add "before posting" somewhere in there. It amazes me how many people start a new thread to post a question when they could've Googled the answer in a fifth of the time.I just changed my signature to reflect that in a way!
