How long should it take for iTunes 11 to start up?

When I click the icon, it bounces in the dock for about 2 minutes before iTunes 11 actually loads up. What gives? I never had this problem before (late 2010 MBA).

Is anyone else experiencing this?

mine starts in less than 1 second after click

Mine takes about as long as the previous version did, something like 9 - 15 seconds. However, my Mac is one of the slowest computers supporting Mountain Lion and iTunes has to load quite a large music collection from a not so fast external HD, so those things should be noted.

Hmm, so it looks like this is a problem. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
