I bought a Mac Pro 6 core shortly after it came out and seem to remember that refurbs on the new Mac Pros started popping up not too long after initial release.

Does anyone know the approximate time frame for Macbook Pro refurbs being sold after the product release?

Thanks.

They pop up fairly quickly, usually in a month or two. Every MBP that gets returned for whatever reason can't be resold as new, so it goes into the refurb channel if it's repairable. There are even a lot of perfectly fine "buyers remorse" units that go back and will clear all QC checks and hit the channel quickly.

3 months earliest (thats when you might be able to get it easier) .... they will pop up earlier but many be one of two a week....
