Depleted my battery to 0% and let it sit for an hour. Plugged in and then completely powered down. An hour later it is only at 25%.

Does the Mini really take 4 hours to charge with the included 5 watt adapter?

Post your experiences. Anyone tried the 12 watt?

2 hours in and I am at 45%. Looks like it will take between 4-5 hours to fully charge. Wonderful...

How does this compare to other 7-8" tablets? My kindle fire (1st gen) charges in about 2 hours.

I plugged it at 75% in an USB port of my MBP. Takes forever. I bought the 12W charger, but haven't tried it yet... I'll test it tomorrow evening.

Hopefully it was designed to draw more power from the 12W.

i tried the 10w and it only took the ipad for about 2hours and 45 min while using it.

I can't remember as I bought the 12 W adapter a few days after I got my mini. Now it charges in a little over 2 hours.
