How long to remove all data?

I am getting ready to ship away my jailboken 32GB iphone 4s to amazon and I went to settings > erase all data.

After an hour it is still a black screen with a white spinning wheel.
How long does this normally take?

How long does this normally take?

Normally, whole process is 5 min TOPS. Just put the iPhone in DFU and plug it in and install new software.
