Normally after the Apple iPhone events, how long does it take the iPhone to release?

Around a week and a half.

Usually the Next Friday after the week of the announcement. To provide enough time to stir up buzz and take millions of pre orders. That way they know how hard to increase production based on the number of units they have/need ratio.
