How long until 7+ will slowly be shipped to stores?

Just wondering if it's worth keeping/placing a pre order or going to the store and getting one

Would I be waiting longer for a pre order or for the store to get them in? (Store as in Apple and/or carriers)

Pre-order is the easy way to get the 7! You can cancel the order if you happen to buy one at the store before it is shipped at the Apple Store. In any case you have 14 days to return it too after it arrive.

The store I went to yesterday said they'd be surprised to see some before December.
