How long will Apple Hold a Store Pickup?

So - I just scored a 16 Gold Verizon phone about an hour away from me. I'm headed in that direction anyway on Saturday (4 days after order) - wondering if I can wait to pick up and avoid the 2 hour r/t.

I know they'll give you at least a day or two - I'd call the store, tell them your situation and ask to be sure.

I read 5 days somewhere. But the more I think about it technically you paid for it so thy can't sell it. Pretty sure.

I picked up mine last night. My "we're ready for you" email said I had until October 6th to pick it up.

When I purchased a MacBook Pro, they said they would hold it for 7 days. I'm can't see why it would different for the iPhone. Especially if it's already paid for.
