I was thinking about the future of the 5s, and I was wondering what the highest supported version of iOS the 5s will get? The A7 is pretty powerful, so could it be the longest lasting iPhone of the 2013 lineup? I was thinking that it could easily get to iOS 10 and maybe 11! What do you guys think? :apple:

10 is likely. 11 is possible, but unlikely.

I am also thinking that iOS 10 would probably be its last update, but with the 64 bit chip, could it last longer? I really think that the only limiting factor would be RAM.

I would say a fairly long time since it has not been out that long and many people will but it at a reduced rate once iPhone 6 with IOS 8 comes out in the fall.

The 5s will stay away for at least 2 more years maybe 3. We know it's going to get iOS 8 and iOS 9, 10... It may get iOS 11 as well. The only thing the 5s has against it is the amount of ram it has.
