How long will the warranty be? How much will AppleCare+ cost? As I save to buy AVP at launch, I must consider taxes and AppleCare+ Theft and Loss. I think Apple will have a super long warranty period. At least I hope so. I think AppleCare+ Theft and Loss might cost $500.

I highly doubt that AC+ will last longer than the three years that is available for Macs, might even be limited to two years like all other Apple products. The Mac Pro has the highest AppleCare+ cost of $499. There are no Theft and Loss options for Macs. Given the cost of the AVP, I don't think there will be a Theft and Loss option as its more like a Mac than iPhone.

I think these days AC+ has the option to turn into a yearly subscription after the 3 years are up. So now you can get AC+ for as long as the product is still supported by Apple, which is usually 5-7 years after it stopped going on sale.

Oh yes!! I didn't about that!

Only a few select products offer that. iPhone/iPad and Apple Watch do for sure. AirPods and Apple TV do not. I'm not sure if Mac does off hand. Hard to know where the AVP will fall.

Probably 20% of the cost, similar to iPhone. For Pro Display XDR, it's $499 or 10%.

So maybe $699 for Vision Pro since it's a portable bleeding edge product?
