How long will Universal software be available

Was just wondering how long the Universal software will be available.

In other words, when will I have to buy an Intel Mac?

Universal software will be available for a long long time, but I'm sure as time goes on, there will be apps that for one reason or another won't be compatible with the PPC Macs, that will probably start soon, and only increase as time goes on.

I guess the pro aps will be the ones going Intel only last. Am I right?

For quite a while yet. Probably 3 years+, as there will be some pretty annoyed people if they don't get that out of a Quad G5
