How long would Apple take to support next-gen AMD cards?

Hi. Does anyone know how long it took for Apple to introduce support for RX 5700 (XT), RDNA AMD video cards, after RDNA's release date?

I just want to predict how long it might take for Apple to support next-gen cards, probably coming out by the end of this year. Your help is greatly appreciated.
