how make those tiny icons for safari address page?

does someone ask this most weeks?... tried looking through threads here but couldn't find an answer...

is there some secret way of storing a tiny gif so that safair sees it and puts it in the address bar?

you mean the "favicon"?

you will need to safe it as a tiny windows icon in .ico format. you can get a "filter" from iconfactory for making icons in photoshop, which is what i use. then, you place it into your page like this...
