With 2 TB ports:

2x2 + a main = 5?

Has anyone ever seen any specifications about this? How much bandwidth does 1 ACD use? I am in the market for a 4+ monitor set up, but if the iMac cannot do this, I will have to wait for the next Pro.

I though its upto 6 or 7 devices.

In theory or if thats the case perhaps a Thunderbolt Display in each TB port plus an additional or 2 additional Thunderbolt Displays in each of the other Thunderbolt Displays?

edit: or did you specifically mean the 27" ACD and not the 27" Thunderbolt?

I meant the 27" thunderbolt. I'm wondering if I could buy a suped up imac that could drive 6+ of the new ACD's with thunderbolt or if I will have to wait for the next pro which I'm assuming will have at least 3 TB ports.

Please don't say "You're going to need a lot more machine than an iMac to drive 6 displays." I just wan't to know how many displays can run through a single TB on the iMac.
