Last year I bought my Ipad 4 32gb Wi-fi for $513 + tax on Black Friday. That is $87 off retail price. The 32gb edition was $60 off and if you have a Discover Card and purchase through there website link (like Best Buy) you get back 5%. Not sure if I can wait that long though, just sold my Ipad 4.

What is your reasoning behind this?

The fact iPads/iPhones are always damn near impossible to get at Launch and there's lines out the door and tons and tons of threads naming every new gate under the sun.

Also the fact Apple doesn't usually have very good Black Friday sales, you may be able to score a $15-20 itunes card or something with it.

Sometimes, retailers like Target or Best Buy has discounts. $40 gift cards were popular last year.

I sold my iPad on Labor day.

I hope Apple does black friday sales every year, even though Apple really doesn't need to provide discounts to move products.

It's called human nature. They want it, and they want it now mentality. Some will wait but most will jump on the Apple bandwagon ;)
