We all know that there'll be a wide variety of bands available to purchase. But the question is, how many bands will you be purchasing when you initially buy your Apple Watch?

If you plan to buy two of the same design, e.g Sport Band, but in different colours, you should select '2' or how many you are going to purchase ect..

Personally, I'll be sticking with just 1 to start with, but I may buy more in the future. What about you? Vote in the poll now!

I would like to have at least 3.

Probably one fitness band and two different leather bands.

I'm targeting the gold watch, so no metallic band for me in this case.

If predictions about the gold watch being $5000 or more end up being correct, then I'll go for the SS. In that case, I would probably add the milanese loop for a total of 4 (to begin with :))

So you plan to get non-matching bands for one of the Gold models? Unless Apple introduces additional Edition-specific bands, you'll look like a fashion faux pas with non-matching crown colors and strap pins.

The rose gold with the black crown would go perfectly with any of the Edition-specific classic or modern buckles and the black sports band.

No, I don't think so. Rose gold will look off with the yellow gold pins on the Edition-specific midnight blue classic buckle, bright red modern buckle, and black sport band. Not to mention that the rose gold with the black crown is available only in 38mm and hence won't be compatible with the 42mm Edition-specific black sport band and midnight blue classic buckle anyway.

Well that is useful information I wasn't counting on. I was expecting the black crown to be available in both sizes and all the bands with both types of gold. If that is the case, I need to get back to the drawing board!

I just noticed they say that the Edition has "six uniquely elegant expressions". What I find odd is that they only show 5... or I am wrong?

And then, there's always the "Features are subject to change" at the end of the page.

They're apparently counting the rose gold with the white crown and sport band as two, as they're available in both 38mm and 42mm sizes. All other Edition models are available either in 38mm (bright red and rose gray bands, apparently intended for women) or 42mm (midnight blue and black sport bands, apparently intended for men).

I see. Well, thanks for all this info!

I think wearing an apple watch is a fashion faux pas in itself.

Two to begin with. One for going out with (leather band) and one for working out in (Sport). This is assuming I get the Stainless model.

If I get the 42mm SS I'll probably start with the link bracelet and maybe a leather band later on. Hoping they'll make the modern buckle for the 42mm eventually.

Jony Ive is my hero so ...

I will pre-order two unseen in person (if and when) but I will definitely end up with at least another one. Or maybe different band each day should that collection grows in the future or if they will all fit and look great on me.

The gorgeous Milanese loop, the French supple modern brown buckle and the fluoroelastomer black sport band (who cares where is the inspitation of that one, Swiss maybe, it is stunning as well).

My wrist is ready, take my money, Apple! :D

I would love to have a 42mm Rose Gold Apple Watch but I just can't understand Apple's logic in not having a black-capped crowne as an option on the 42mm size. I would like to eventually get an alligator leather band from a third party. I think it would look great.

I am just as overly excited with the bands. *pulsing heart*

Depends on the price of the watches and bands. I'd love a link bracelet and a modern leather band, though not sure if the price of the SS model will be prohibitive.

If it is, I'd probably stick to the Sport and either the black or white bands. They're probably just about formal enough to wear out and about.

Weird poll.
While I will probably buy 1 more... many, many, many people will buy zero additional & just use the one packaged with it.
Your poll inexplicably left that option out. It starts with "1 additional", not "none".

That's a super, super, super bizarre opinion.

Have you ever heard of Vogue Magazine??
I believe their main topic is "fashion".
You may want to look at recent covers of their Chinese edition.
