How many battery cycles have you guys been through on your Macbook? My Macbook (Spring 09') has been through 1261 and has 90% health left.

If you haven't calibrated your battery, your readings could be very inaccurate. Also, everyone's usage is different, so comparing cycles won't give you any useful information. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

It wasnt spring 09, but its a Unibody, and in that thread i read that you dont have to calibrate them..?

Umm, 3.5years - 171cycle counts and counting with 88% health, i thought this was much, apparently not, hehe..

1200+ and 90% life, seems great for you though! That's pretty much for so many battery cycles!

Mine's not a unibody.

The MacBooks that come pre-calibrated are Late 2009 and later. Spring 09 is obviously earlier than that. Even those which come pre-calibrated and do not require regular calibration can be calibrated if you suspect your readings are off. It won't hurt to calibrate it, to be sure.

2009 uMB with 2.4 4GB, 500GB Hybrid and above average use, I have 520cycles, getting 4-5 hours out of the battery and at 97% health, coming up on 3 years Feb 2012.

I have the uMB that you can replace the battery yourself. I guess I am supposed to get 1000 charge Cycles before replacing the battery, but this is a good machine, thinking of going to a 160 GB Intel 320 SSD though.

On this battery, only 16.

I have really bad luck with batteries, so i'm on my 8th replaced for free by Apple after they checked it and assumed the "blame" (using a 09 macbook pro, but even out of warranty they've still been assuming all expenses and exchanging the bad batteries).

They've checked ALL components on my mac more than once, and found no problems, only on the battery. Next time i'm gonna tell Apple to give me a job on quality control... seem i have a "gift" to out of 1000's of batteries find the bad ones...

Gonna try and find the screenshot but i once had such a nice battery that instead of showing the max capacity was 5600mAh it showed it was over 14000mAh.

2.4ghz Core 2 Duo Black Macbook 903 count 92% health

But, I will look into calibrating.

57 month old 2,1 macbook

2292 cycles. It just died this weekend but now is working fine? and says 86% charge? Already ordered a new one but it has been flawless up until this weekend.
