When you get a new macbook pro, how many battery's cycle did your macbook already have on it?
Few day ago, after unboxing macbook pro 15 late 2013 (2.0GHz, 8G Ram, 256 SSD) and taking first boots, i check information about battery --> cycle = 3.
Is that normal ???

PS: What does "cycle pin" mean? English is not my native tongue.

@ simsaladimbamba: sorry, some time I say battery's cycle by cycle pin :p
But, I hear that a new macbook pro have 0-1 cycle at first time using.

Where do you hear that? It might be true for some, having a new unopened MBP already telling you it has 5 or so cycles, is also normal. It is not a sign of damage, thus you can safely use it and do not need to fret about.

I got a new MBP last week (when Apple replaced my faulty one) and it had 2 cycles out of the box. First time I ran coconut battery I had already charged it once and the count was at 3. I'm assuming this is because they charge it once in the factory (remember how old cellphones took 20 hours on first charge? Apple does this for you), then discharge it completely and recharge it again so it's good to go out of the box.

Apple is going to test the battery when they make it and it comes partially charged so there's going to be some cycles on it.

OK. Thanks all. I known now.
I had 2 times unboxing MBP and got 1 cycle on all. So this times i worry about this cycle 3 :p.
