How many betas of 2.0 were there?

So, Im running 3.0 beta 2 as a new developer, and while its MUCH better than beta 1, its still pretty buggy.

How many public betas did 2.0 go through before it was released to the public?

There was around 7 or 8 2.0 beta releases given to beta testers. Whether the same can be said for 3.0, we just have to wait and see.
