How many Bluetooth devices can you connect

Trying to connect my ps3 controller to my iMac via Bluetooth and it doesn't work.

I have 1 magic trackpad and the keyboard connect as bluettpth

I even installed the ps3 controller driver and it still won't connect

But it connect fine to my air which has no Bluetooth devices connected on

Any help
