Last year for the iPhone 5 (in my local Apple store) it was 2 per person. They sold out before the store opened. They passed out tickets. This is in Miami Florida.

The store was the Falls location. I wait there every year for the phone. The only phones that make it till like 10am are the Sprint and verizon 64 gigs it seems maybe 32gig also... I don't remember.

This is where I'm planning on going. I want an AT&T 16gb. When I should I arrive by?

lol really? That is going to be the fastest selling out phone for sure. AT&T the lowest Gig option is always the first to go there. I don't remember how the line went for the 3G. For the 4 I lined up at 12am after I got out of work. 3 buddies of mine were holding a spot for me in line and I was number 12 I think? The line was already at about 60 at 12. For the 4s I arrived at around 2am and was around number 60-80. For the 5 I got there at 530am and was around 200 in line. I got the 32gb this time though. They had a stack of 16gb tickets to give out still, but I heard that they ran out even before they opened. I live 5 minutes from the Falls, so I usually just check out the line at different times. The line always forms outside the Mall in front of 136 street, next to the gas station. Normally at 6am a police officer walks everyone into the mall in a line to the Apple store. This year I planed on checking it out at 10pm and then 12am. If the line was less than 100 people I'd leave and come back around 4am. Since there are no preorders, I might just line up at 12am with my fiance. I guess we'll see!

This reminds me of that video years ago (maybe for the 4S launch?), where the lady paid so many people in line to get in front of them, because she planned on buying a bunch of iPhones. Then once she got into the door, she realized there was a 2 phone limit. Hilarious.

Well this is the first time I'm lining up for an iPhone so that's why I asked. I've also never been to The Falls mall, I'm closer to Dadeland but I heard The Falls is a bit more tame.

I didn't mean it in a rude or sarcastic way o_O. I meant, "really" as in that's crazy you're going to the same one that I'm going to. I was just trying to be helpful so you can plan accordingly. I have no idea how Dadeland is for launch date. Not sure which one is better or worse.

Oh ok, sorry I misread it.

I was thinking of getting there around 6 but maybe I need to go earlier then...

I think you might be okay with 6am. I don't know though lol. I can post here on the forum at like 4-6 to let you know how the line is if you'd like.
