We recently had some friends over that had 5 kids. Today I saw a license plate that said "MOM OF 6". I've always thought that 2 or 3 was the most I'd ever have (I have 2 now).

Anyway, there have been a number of threads on kids, etc., but I thought I'd run a poll to see how many children the people of MacRumors have.

Two here. Girl and boy. I wanted three, but it's the only time my wife threatened to slap me....well, almost the only time. :)

Two. But it was so tempting to reply "I've lost count"....
Yeah, that's a tough one. I figure you can either have a lot of kids or just a bad memory :p

My father comes from a family of thirteen kids !
He is the second to youngest, his younger brother has eight- lots of big families on the patriarchial side.
As for me- I'll let you know how many kids after the third date.

I know a family with 17 kids. Two sets of twins, I believe. One of the most amazing families I've known. Their bathroom getting ready regimen started at 4:30 am when all were in school and lived in the same, little house. Mother's famous quote: "after the first twelve, it wasn't so bad".

I probably couldn't handle more than two when I eventually have them, I'm 21, single and queer so I don't plan on having them anytime soon. Probably be in school until I'm about 30, maybe around that time I'll settle down, get married and start a family. I'd like to have one of our (future wife and me) own and probably adopt another a couple years later or so.

1 and hopefully another -

At one time I thought having twins would be cool, but then 3 friends of ours had twins, one of both boys and 2 of both girls. Listening to their stories is tough, and this is from someone who has a 2 y.o.

I have only one brother and my wife is an only child, so more than one is definitely a plan - even if we adopt.

shameless plugl

I have a boy and a girl (ages 2 and 1) and I really think I want to have another one. Maybe next year.

bring stuff like that up and you won't have to worry about a 4rth date ;)

I have 3, all girls aged 8, 6, and 4 months. My wife wants me to "run with scissors" to make sure that we don't have a fourth.
