Sorry for yet another question thread, but I was wondering how many of you have converted people to the Mac platform? I've only managed 7, but one of the 7 has almost converted one of her friends. I'm so proud of that! I guess she'd count as my Macolyte...:p

i've converted two, even if they are my brother and sister. i might have been responsible for one person's conversion, not sure though, and my friend might get a macbook in the future, which would be a major victory seeing as he's very experienced with windows. i try not to be too pushy though, there is a threshold when it turns from nagging to obnoxious.

Well, I can't take the credit for all of them, as Dell, Toshiba, and HP and their wonderful products helped out a lot. But... Three, I'd say. Working on my fourth right now!

None at all! I tried many times and I tried hard, but everyone I know is too stubborn.

I guess I wouldn't be a good cult leader ;-)

I'm at two, which I think is pretty good for me. :) My approach is a subtle one, of walking around screaming "Macs are better" until someone switches. Just kidding. :)

I wouldn't say convert but make more mac tolerant. I have convinced a few people to get iPods or download iTunes when it first came out for windows in '03. From there its only natural for them to end up with a mac :D.

well, none have gotten a mac YET but they will in the next few months. One of the ones I got to go mac, is getitng an iMac and a MacBook :O!

but I would say about 3 or 4.

Yeah, but you can't uncork a Mac and get people drunk before taking their orders. Also, you can't smear your body in Macs and sensually play with the customer's leather heels, as they lick all the Macs off you. It just doesn't work.

Lets see, 1 and 1 next week (being hes ordered a macbook and its coming next week) - the reason for the last one is because he seems to get tonnes of viruses and I was fed up having to get his laptop working.
