How many days from Ship to Delivery?

Please post how long it took from Shipping notice to actual delivery of your Mac. Mine says "Shipped/Billed On: 10/27/2008" & "Rescheduled Delivery: 10/29/2008" on the UPS site.

Yet Apple tracking online says "Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 30 Oct 2008 (Subject to change)"

Which is correct?

And is it possible for my MBP to arrive within *just two days* of shipping from Shanghai China, clearing customs and land at my door here in London?

Seems kinda fast!

My MBP vas shipped on the 25th and still nothing, not even a trackingnumber...
 
they are both "estimated" arrival dates. the UPS site is probably more accurate though. i think it's pretty rare to receive it within two days even when you pay for it.
mine took exactly 5 days from the time it shipped to the U.S. .

i know the wait sucks, but be patient. it'll be worth it.
 
Perhaps! I have a white macbook that says expected on the 30th, and is now roughly 2 hours away from where i live (thank you google maps!), so hopefully shouldn't take 2 more days to do nothing.

If you ordered an ipod or printer it might take longer however, since the items merge in transit...

Patience is hard...!

Apple has an interesting policy with customers who order more stuff from them... let them wait, the more you order the lesser customer?!?
 
I ordered mine on the 17th. It was shipped on the 23rd and according to the tracking information it will be here tomorrow (28th) :)

I know, I have just spoken to apple to say that 5 of 6 items have merged in transit and they are awaiting the 6, an ipod nano. How hard is it to send that out later on its own? It's only little.:)
 
mine took 8 days from order till it was suddenly shipped. Then this tracking horror started. It took 2 days to get from Shanghai to Sydney (which was bad enough if you look at the events). Now it is 4 days to get from Sydney to a suburb of Melbourne!!! (assuming it gets here today - it's the morning of the 28th right now)

What where all the different items? I ordered MBP, remote and nano.

Trust the tracking number from UPS. Vendors like Apple and Dell usually like to give you a worst-case number so they can beat expectations.

what BTO machine did you order.. and is your mac being delivered to london?

mine is expected to be delivered by tomorrow.. fingers crossed... toes and legs too. HEH :D

I'm due my delivery in ireland but its only arrived in incheon yet. Where's Santa or david copperfieldhead when ya need them?! Oh by the way I'm waiting on a baseline mbp

ok. its taking in the sights of its 1st time in Korea. :D

I wonder if yours will get the warsaw and koeln highlights. i dont get it. why dont they just fly it straight from China into the Netherlands (or Ireland) for that matter since thats Apples head quarters in Europe.. in Cork.. :confused:

If yours is a CTO , it would certainly take alittle more days to be delivered to you since they need to contact the factory in China (Shanghai) to assemble to your customized order.

For my case, IU ordered on the 20th Oct, and Apple on the order print out, Apple estimate that it would be delivered between the 3rd Nov to 6th Nov. But Once I had the tracking on TNT side. the delivery date was revised to delivered by 29th Oct!! I was so excited!!

The tracking is not accurate!!

And guess what? I got my CTO Macbook Pro on the 28th instead!!
 
IT ARRIVED!!

3:43PM GMT UK Time

4 days total for a CTO. Not bad Apple :D But it did take 2.5 for them to ship it from initial order :rolleyes:
