Thinking of finally jumping to Lion. How many Macs can I upgrade in the house with my purchase?

download lion in the appstore, before you install it use this guide to make a bootable dvd, than you can go ahead and install it, and use the dvd to install on your other macs

reason i say before you install it is becasue once you install, the installer file is deleted and thats the file you need to make the bootable dvd

you can skip step 1, thats only showing you how to re-download lion if you had installed it already

I currently own two Macs, but we have three if including my sister's Mac. I obviously don't own or control it. Will that make it a problem for her? The only problem I can think of running into is an Apple ID or iCloud issue. Will she still be able to independently use her's?

nope its all based on the honour system, it wont effect or limit her computer in anyway
