I find it interesting to see how many email accounts people have.

I myself have two accounts, one for personal stuff and the other for online shopping, registrations and anything else. My personal email is a gmail one and the "everything else" email is a .mac one, i use it because i can have allies's for different stuff.

i have like 7+...alot i use for junk mail.
I have...
2 Windows Live
2 AOL
2 Gmail
1 .Mac
1 Yahoo

3 non-forwarding email addresses, all GMail, 1 university, 1 personal, 1 for companies.

7 active plus two or three aliases and a couple of inactive ones (phased out). All in all, way too many... ;)

Having my own domain(s), and control with a mail server makes it too easy to make new accounts...

I'm actually in the process of reducing the number, by making aliases pointing to a few selected accounts rather than having all those accounts.

Two.

1 gmail
1 University (and my Uni. partnered with google to use gmail for uni. email).

Gmail FTW.

1. Work
2. .Mac - only used for personal/family
3. Gmail - mainly online shopping, email subs, newsletters
4. Gmail - junk email account
5. ISP - not used

Three here – two personal and a work account.

My two personal ones are a Gmail one which tends to get used for 'proper' stuff, and my ISP provided account which is being turned over to a big spam bin – a fair bit of that spam being sent by my ISP, strangely enough.

2

1 Yahoo Mail (My real email address I contact people through)
1 Excite Mail (Online shopping and such)

There are probably 10+ I don't use anymore, but I didn't include those.

Why is None an option? Don't you need an email address to create an MR account? ;)

I have my personal .com email, Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, university email, ISP (never used), used to have .Mac until my account expired, AIM (never used), used to have work email. I actually own several Gmail accounts.

I've noticed how terrible all the online email services are in terms of using their websites. User interface is just completely horrible. Even Gmail is bad. Not to mention they are trying to get all fancy with web 2.0 AJAX which doesn't work properly in some browsers and the services don't even automatically detect browser compatibility correctly.

I guess you can tell I prefer IMAP/POP access ;)

I have 2, one for Junk and ebay and my ISP mail account for business/private stuff

the wife also has 2, one for junk, and one via the ISP for Teacher training/training presentation stuff, can't really see why you'd need anymore than 2? :)

Two:

1. Yahoo!
2. Gmail

The Yahoo one got so full of crap I stopped using it. Gmail is great because it doesn't get flooded with crap, and it works great with Mail.

A quick count reveals i've got 7

But only two that I really use - one at work and a gmail one for 'everything else...'

I have three accounts

1 Personal
1 For Billing
1 For web sites I just want to check out but require e-mail and I know they will spam me.

More than I can count. Actually, many more than I can count - especially when you add in all the aliases that several of the accounts have!

And have recently had to add a couple of new ones just to cover my a$$ because some senders (including this forum :() have ISPs that just can't make it past my primary ISP's security measures.

I have had tons of accounts that I have opended over the years or have been given to me. I am sure a lot have expired but the ones I use today are listed below.

Two school accounts (one is from my department and one is given to all students, check them both)

Main account is gmail and I have two accounts forwarded to it, one is my ARRL (www.arrl.org) account and the other is my SDF Public Access UNIX account.

I also have my work account.

About 6 that I use regularly.

1 Named account at work
2 Team account at work that I check
3 .Mac main address for personal friends
4 .Mac alias for my little boy
5 .Mac alias for shopping/websites etc
6 I also have a forwarding service from my old University that forwards to my .Mac acconut. I like the address of that one but rarely use it for some reason.

I proably have about another 10 that I have used to collect spam in the past but don't check anymore (hotmail, yahoo etc)
