I use it one-handed almost exclusively, even when typing. And now that my favorite hp12c clone has incorporated portrait mode I can't think of a single reason for using two hands, save for the odd game.

for me ,,,

left hand thumb touch all time

only type sms with index finger right hand , otherwise left thumb

One hand. Lot of people including myself want a larger screen but I don't want to loose one hand operation

Those "magazine" women are hardly an accurate representation. Models use two hands to give a sense of warmth and caring.

Anyhoo now that I had a chance to ponder this, my life is now complete.

Because Women are superior, it is why they use both hands………………. okay seriously :D…….. it all depends on the person. I use my right hand, well for many other things as well………...;)

depends how many hands I have free.
occasionally i use my nose if im using both hands, strains the eyes though :D

I vary. Mainly if I'm not typing I use my right hand and right thumb to control my iPhone. Sometimes my left, but mainly my right. When I type, I put my middle and index finger on the back of the iPhone, pinkies to support the bottom, and thumbs to type if its something long. Otherwise, I only use my right thumb while holding the phone in my right hand.

Did you really just ask that question? Anyway I use it diffrently all the time I dot really know how I use it just how ever I use it is how I use it. I do know thy when I type I use 2 hands when I eat I use 1.

I'd say 90% of the time I'm using my iPhone with my right hand/thumb only (like right now).

There are times when I'm laying down or using an app that isn't very one hand friendly though.

I couldn't imagine saying you use any smartphone one handed 100% of the time. I guess it depends on usage though.

I wish devs would think about this when designing apps. Most of my apps have a back button in the upper left. Adding a swipe gesture or moving the back button would aid in one handed use.
