... OK, so if you are in graphics, film, music ...maybe a lot ... but not everyone is, so a friend and I were wondering were wondering just how long you spend with your Mac, even if you are using it gor work.
If not...what are you doing....????

Too much.

It's all MacRumors and bugging my friends on their MySpaces. (they made me sign up, now I bombard them with comment. It's all good.)

Also, I read FRB board member speeches. It's awesome.

Ah, Mr. Ferguson.. always with the lame jokes. I LOVE YOU!

Actually almost all day (of course i use for work) but when i go home i dont wanna see a computer....

so basically i use mac during work only....do the math.;) ;)

im a graphic designer and apple tech @ LSU:
I spend about 3-5 hours a day on my own machine doing design work & this ;) , and about 1-2 hours a day doing software training, demos, fixing & maintaining other macs.

Yea.... I'm on pretty much 10-13 hours a day. I take my powerbook everywhere I go and have it setup at work on my desk to check email and communicate with everyone....
Anyway I think I spend way too much time on mine...

14 to 16 hours.

I make my living on this thing. It's like an airline jet - if it's sitting on the ground doing nothing it's not making money.

I'm lucky enough to have a Mac at work, despite not being in art/graphics/movies/tv/whatever (I'm a scientist). So the answer probably is in the range of 30-60 hours a week, if not longer. As I'm splitting my time between 3 Macs it's been a lot recently!

What did you think of Europe, Katie?

Time spent on computer = way too much.

Well, my iBook is my only computer right now so I spend anywhere from 4 1/2 - 10 hours a day, depending on work and classes. Once I get my iMac in another week, it'll definitly be more hours to add!

I have a Mac and a PC on my desk at work, split time fairly evenly between them during my 11 hour workday of which at least 9 hours is in front of the computers. Then, I'm usually using one of my Macs at home for at least three hours a night.

In other words, too damn much and not nearly enough.;)

about 10 hours a day just browsing, chatting, reading MR and doing work. you just dont realize that you've spent 1/2 your life on your Mac until you actually sit down and do the math. Macs are just too addictive.

My PB seems to be permanently attached to me. I'm usually doing school work on it, reading MR (the most time consuming of all the things), browsing, chatting, d/l, emailing, listening to music, playing Quinn all while sitting on the couch watching TV. :p

Haha too much for me too. I'd have to say any where from 21 hours a week (3 hours a day) to 24 1/2 hours a week (3 1/2 hours a day).

I spend about 3.5 hours a day on it.
Soo... 24.5 hours a week.

(Wow, I'm a loser. I spend a whole day per week on the computer!)

All of it's Mac rumor sites, MySpace, NationStates and the occasional game too.

I can't wait until I have to do video editing and webpage design again!
