does 2.5 to 3 hours sound about right? (assuming 10% to 100%)

That sounds accurate. I use Qi charging for my phone most of the time and it usually takes 2 - 3 hrs, depending on the current charge when placed on the charger.

someone gave me a wireless charger after he bought the MagSafe charger.... It took almost 3 hours to charge my old iPhone Xs Max from just under 5% to 100%... just wasnted to make sure the charger wasn't taking too long. (but hey, it was free, so I can't complain either way )
