pretty close I use it a few hours a day off and on during class and home, etc. and have to charge it every 3-4 days.

The couple of times I've paid close attention, the charged % has gone down less than 10% per hour. Usually more like 8-9%. I have yet to use the iPad for 10+ hours straight, so I don't absolutely know for sure, but from the several-hour sessions I've had it sure seems like 10 hours is a reasonable (possibly low) estimate.

Yup. I tested it with wifi and 3g usage, and with watching a movie. I burn about 10% battery use ever hour. Sometimes it burns a little lower, sometimes a little higher but it does average to around 10%/hour.

I've been getting a good 13+ hours of usage when using pages, browsing the web and things like that. I get a good 10+ hours of gaming and movies. I am very pleased with the battery. Can't wait to try it out in a couple weeks on a trip to the Bahamas!

Mine is need of calibration at the moment. Think I'll do it today. I'm already at 68%

All I've done so far today is text, read site, a little NPR, and open a few emails.

It's hard for me to believe you get 13+ hours. I get at best 8-9 hours. I do gaming with just Angry Birds or casino slots. The rest of the time is web surfing and mail. I still only charge it every 3-4 days. :apple:

Easily about 9-10 hours. Battery life is just something you don't need to worry about with the iPad, it's great :D

10-11 hours of Wifi Web Browsing. 8 hours Wifi Slingbox Streaming. 10 hours of 3G Sirius Radio Streaming. Exceeded by expectations on all fronts :D

Screen brightness is the real killer. Turn down your brightness and you'll turn up your battery life.

This. Mine is usually below 30% brightness, unless I'm using it outside or somewhere else with a lot of screen glare. I notice a major battery difference when I do turn the brightness up.

Like others have said screen brightness makes a great difference. I keep mine on literally 25-30% at most. I've noticed even turning it to 50% I drop below the 10 hour mark. Typing notes on pages really isn't that large of a battery hog as long as brightness is turned down, and thats what I spend most of my time doing when i get my 13+.

Im really trying to increase usage and only use my mbp for serious work, ipad is nit quite there yet for me
