How many IP5's did you buy on launch day?

I could of sworn I heard/read 2 per customer, but this lady in front of me was getting 3, 1 for herself and 2 for her kids. When I listened to her tell this to the Verizon employee, there was no objection.

Is it different at carrier stores than at the Apple store?

I think I remember reading on the Apple Store during preorder something along the lines that you could only order "two carrier activated phones." It wouldn't let me checkout with two phones for some reason. I finally made two separate preorders and received both on launch day.
