I'm on number three after the 1.1.1 bricked (not unlocked or jailbreaked) iPhone number two.

at&t fault not Apples...
2nd phone.

How did AT&T brick it? Just curious.

Still on my first one. I've been incredibly lucky with Apple. For all the complaints I see here about exchanged busted equipment, Apple's the only company I've never had to get anything exchanged. yet. :p

ONE ! And now a thing wrong with it [yet]...knock on wood -knock knock-

I'm on my third. I got p1ssed off when 1.1.1 lock it down. So I went and bought another for the old firmware. I got that up and going. Then decided I really wanted better email for work, so I returned the second iPhone, got a Blackberry, and sold my iPhone right here in MacRumors Forums last night. As I shipped the iPhone out today to my buyer, I got very sad. So I went and returned my brand new Blackberry and got a new iPhone. The world is one again (until tomorrow around 11:16am!:D

Wirelessly posted (Apple Communication Device: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/3A109a Safari/419.3)

one. I must be the luckiest sob in the world. Of all the gadgets I've owned, probably in the hundreds, I've only had to replace one, treo 650.

3 all BS replacements I convinced apple to give me new ones cause I kept dropping them... Gotta love apples customer service! :D

I wasn't bricked, the apple genuis justed want to insure my customer services experience was not left to at&t tech support.

I am on my second. The first one just stopped working and Apple couldn't fix it so they sent me another one.

Ha ha, that's funny! The love-hate dysfunctional relationship with Apple in action! I often want out of the relationship, but every time I try to leave, I start missing it and missing Apple products. It just shows how addictive this all is and that when you try something else, you always miss the simplicity and minimalism of apple products. For all its faults, there are few, if any, better alternatives.

3 - first phone didn't last longer than 4 hours, 2nd phone had 2+ dead pixels. The one i'm on now has 1 dead pixel, but it's less noticable than the 2 on my last phone. I've decided to keep this one and hope that Apple's replacement policy doesn't change so I can get a new one in 9 months or so.

How did you do that? I've got a huge dent in the back of mine that I'd love to have replaced. For now i'm just covering it with a case.

PS, it's the original i bought on June 30th.

I bought mine on Day 1 from an apple store, but i went back on Sunday with battery issues. The geniuses ended up giving me a new one.

3.

Bought refurb 4gb a week before the price drop. When drop went into effect I ordered an 8gb refurb with the intention of sending the 4gb back. But I ended up sending the 8gb back for a refund when I found out that I would be refunded $159 on the price of the 4gb Id bought.

Then I had my 4gb replaced due to the negative black screen issue.

I'm on number 3, the first one developed a dead spot on the screen, the second one within a week started to restart by itself constantly, and #3 so far so good. I'm not exaclty happy that the replacements where refurbished but they seem to work.
