how many macs do you have? Working or not! I have 2 that i use all the time
 
I currently own two and will probably be getting a third here shortly. I love my Powerbook so much and it basically convinced me to buy a PowerMac. I absolutely love both of my machines, each serves it's purpose quite well and I'm very happy I made the switch.
 
Only the two in signature, previously had a black 180Mhz Performa and a blue clamshell iBook

those are the ones I own, at christmas when my family gets together we have all that plus:

iBook G4 1.25 (actually maybe it's 1GHz, i don't recall, it isn't mine)

well, i have 3 working (the ones in my sig), plus 5 performas, a quadra, a mac classic, and an apple ][.

that's 11 macs in total ;)
 
Let's see, I use the iMac and the PB everyday, Mini's been donated to Mom. I also have a G4 PM under the desk (linux project) and a 1st Gen G4 PB. These are the working machines, also have a Mac Plus, IIci, and a Power Computing clone- these have been retired to the garage, waiting for a revival. Next purchase, G5 Quad- slated for Feb. next year.
 
I only have one mac that is technically all mine, my 12" PowerBook Rev D. We have two other iMacs and a PowerMac at my parents house, and I have used all of those machines, but they are family computers.
 
Shouldn't the poll choices include either 1 and 2 and not 1-2? Most people have one or more, the question becomes, does the person only have one or two?

I think that would be a better polling option.
 
For me personally 2 ibooks, in the house it jumps to an imac g3 and emac. Include the almost fiancée plus our kids, add a g5 iMac and mac mini. One big happy family ! :D
 
iMac for hardcore posting and iBook for posting on the road.

Is there a better possible set up? Rhetorical question. Only mad people may answer rhetorical questions.



Ahem. Yes, a Power Mac and PowerBook could potentially be better...
 
I have 23 Macs, iBook G4 1Ghz, 2 PowerMac G4 400 Mhz, iMac grape 333, original bondi iMac, my compact Macs: Mac SE, Mac Plus, Mac 512k, and 2 Mac Classics, then I have a bunch of older Macs that are just part of my collection, I don't use them. And I have an Apple IIE. I know, its sad, but who cares?
 
I answered 3 that are "mine" which are the ones in my sig. If I count the wife and kids then it would be 6 Macs (and yeah I paid for them all - so it depends on the definition of "do you have")
 
Two macs here: iMac (Rev B) and 15" PB (Rev E). I think that I'll be adding a Power Mac and ACD to the stable..... I'm waiting for the new Nikon D200 to arrive, am eager to see how Aperture works in real life, and then will probably go ahead and get the PM for digital imaging while I continue to use the iMac for email, web surfing, forums, etc. The PB is great for using around the house and outside on the deck as well as for travel. The iMac was my first venture into the World of Apple and Mac and now I'm hooked!

Also have several Windoze machines: 1 elderly WIN 95 laptop (no longer used, just need to clear some image files from it); 1 not-quite-as-elderly WIN 98SE desktop (still works but I don't use. Again, I need to clear some files out of it before discarding); 1 WIN 98SE laptop of the same vintage (on loan to a friend); 1 WIN XP Pro desktop; 1 WIN XP Pro laptop; 1 XP Home desktop (was my late mother's; now it's about to be given to a friend). The goal is to clear the files out of those old machines and get rid of them altogether, maybe keep one WIN XP Pro machine around for those rare times when I might need to do something in Windoze.

Currently just the 2 in my signature, the ibook is a new addition, but i did sell my G3 Blue and White last week so i had 3 for a while.

The 7500, 425 and 630 all worked last time I tried... :)
