I'd say they got most of the stability issues ironed out, just some small bugs, I would give it like 3 more betas until it's perfectly fine. Heck, beta 3 is running silky smooth for me anyway.

4 or 5 more. I think we'll see it go to at least beta 7 before the GM.

beta 8:confused::confused::confused::confused:

I just see some isolated issues, they added the new features so from now it it should just be minor bug fixes. I think beta 6/7 should be the Gold Master, granted it is an update that quite literally changes everything.

At the current rate of releasing an update every 2 weeks, more than 7 would push the official release into October. Don't see that happening.

Apple can easily go something like 3 weeks between future beta updates too.

If we're assuming iOS 7 will be released in, say, October, then -- from noting that Apple seems to be pushing a new beta every other week -- there would be 5-6 more betas.

For 8 or 9 betas in total, not counting the GM.

That'd be my guess, anyway.

Remember, they were grabbing devs from OS X to help with iOS 7. I think they still want to tweak a lot of stuff before the final release.

I think they added everything they were gonna put in 7.0 and are saving the rest for 7.1, historically the .1 updates have added very good features like mms.

What about 6.1 or 5.1--don't think those really added that much.
