I'm going to be honest..I'm pretty excited to play a few of the games on the app store :p

The App Store looks fantastic. Ok, not all applications are going to be free, so, get over it - it's a store, just like iTunes.

I think the wealth of applications we will see in the App Store will be utterly HUGE. After July 11th, iPhone will no longer be just a cool phone,
and iPod touch will no longer be just a cool looking iPod. Both are going to become a mobile platform, and that my friends, is the exciting thing. :apple:

- Enigmo 2 > Definitely buying that at launch.
- Loopt > Free (Awesome)
- Typepad > Free (Awesome)
- Band > Definitely buying that at launch.
- Super Monkey Ball > As if you need to ask

For anyone who hasn't seen these two section on Apple.com yet:

I'm also very excited to play Super monkey ball..I love that game soo much :D I'll pay 10bucks for it anyday

A little off topic but nice work R-fly I like your portfolio :p

I am pretty excited, the games should be fun and over time there will be a lot of cool apps I am sure.

I'm extremely excited! i can't wait for all of the amazing applications to come! So far I've got Enigmo, Super Monkey Ball, Band and AIM on my checklist. And I'll probably get a lot of free apps too! :D

$60 in iTunes saved up

Assuming v2.0 and the App Store go public at 6PM EST on July 11th..
We've got 27 days 16 hours and 51 minutes to go!

Not as excited as I probably should be. Nothing I've seen has blown me away, and seeing Moo's 'Band' app featured was really depressing. I've had the same thing free of charge for the last two months...

More and more apps from the jailbreak scene are becoming shareware like the cutomizing Kate (or caterpillar, don't remember since the name changed), or the video recording apps for the iphone.
I don't expect some other apps, like Sketches or Twitterific to be updated since their "legal" counterparts will be on the Appstore.
So most of the free apps will disappear, i guess.

I'm looking forward to the App Store, although I plan to jailbreak both my iPod touch and my new iPhone 3G for one very simple reason: custom wallpaper and icons. If Apple would allow someone like Panic (or whoever makes Candybar) to release an app like that for the App Store, I'd buy it in a second and kiss jailbreaking goodbye forever. ;)

im excited

I got approved a while back and the game ive been porting will be on the app store so I'm excited. As far as moos app I think on his site he said he's adding content to his apps for the app store.
