does it cover dropping it in water, on concrete, etc...

I don't have AppleCare on my iPhone, but my girlfriend has it on her MacBook, and it doesn't cover accidental damage.

As I understand it, AppleCare is an extended warranty - not insurance.
 
ya, its an extended warranty ... so if you battery goes bad, they'll replace it... but not if it gets watter damage ...

and if you ask me %20 is a lot for that kind of coverage .... (so i didn't get it)
