Subject pretty much covers it. I was just wondering how many went ahead and purchased it. I did because I was in an apple store couple weeks ago and a lady came in with a 1 1/2 year old laptop which had problems and they gave her a new computer because she had it.

I got Squaretrade. The build quality just doesn't seem that well, I am worried about accidents. Plus, I have three years of coverage.

I bought my Applecare on EBay.
Spending an extra $60 on a $900 purchase seemed pretty reasonable to me.

I like AppleCare and always buy it for my new Macs. But I
believe it's a big waste of money on an iPad.

However I like that others buy it cause it pumps up the value of my Apple stock. :)

I don't have any its not here yet...but after checking out squaretrade from this post i'm gonna go with that ....never know when your wife will drop it ;)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

Same here: got it for the big Macs but not for iPad or iPhones. They don't last so long ... Refresh cycle is too short ;-)
