How many people have preordered an Apple Watch so far?

OK, so I don't have a number, but this information might be useful to the seeker:
There are 2,607 threads on this Apple Watch forum (not including my own.) As of a few seconds ago, there were 605 people browsing this forum, not including myself. (166 members & 439 guests)
Also, as you may be aware, Apple Watch preorders are backlogged. Some will have to wait months for their watches.
As for me, I have not preordered a watch.
Edit: According to Google AdWords Keyword Planner, 5,950,180 Google searches for the term "apple watch" were conducted in the United States last month. As for the UK, 2,131,040 Google searches were performed using the same keyword.
