It's been a few years since we had an Are you married? poll. This time we'll ask about multiple marriages too. I'm curious whether the forums are still 1/3 married people and 2/3 unmarried people and whether there are forum members on their n'th spouse.

Rather than debate what constitues a marriage here, we'll let you decide. If you consider yourself married, answer accordingly. If you want to discuss the social issues about the legality and definition of marriage, use an appropriate thread in the Politics, Religion, Social Issues forum (example, example).

Please post if you have something notable to tell us about your marriage(s).

Early on, it looks like the 1/3-2/3 rule is holding up. I do feel bad that I'm going to help skew the results. I doubt that most of the other married folks will be getting two votes in for their marriage (it could shift the apparant balance to 50/50!)

Hehe. Wonder if there was an option for it, if anyone would vote for: Married: Still married, working to fix that.

I am on my second and final marriage. Everyone is allowed a starter marriage...;)

not married. almost once though.
maybe never.

my opinions on the whole 'institution of marriage' bounce back and forth. :\

As of right now, no, I have never been married.

Ask me again in two and a bit weeks, and the answer will be very different :)
You will have been married in two and a bit weeks? Not expecting it to last then? :D :p

Or to put it another way, congrats!!!

6 years this Saturday :)

My birthday is tomorrow and my wife's birthday is Sunday.......we were married the day in 2001. It's a 3-day holiday every year :)

Shouldn't there be a widowed option too?
The "unmarried" choice covers marriages ended by either death or divorce.

It does not include the case where one spouse is so busy at MacRumors that they never see the other spouse.

Mr and Mrs E

Just once - to this bloke...

and in a few days it will be 7 months. :)

(Was in a long term relationship which I referred to as marriage but it was never official/legal. Did not work out, that one.)

Very happily (and officially) married now... who'da thunk it? Not me! :p

Not married yet, though I guess I am a little too young. I do plan to be married though, but in all honesty, I'd rather not wait to marry when I'm 30 like my parents did.
