Since you got your first iphone/ipad? Free or paid.

I got a first gen iphone in late 2007 and my app purchase history shows 835.

Seems excessive to me, but i'll wait until others chime in.

71 :)

On daily basis I use 7-8 not counting preinstalled Apple apps like Music or Videos.

I've probably downloaded over 1000, but only keep about 50 on my iPhone. I use 10 or so on a daily basis.

99% of all apps are crap. I use only 4-8 apps regularly. Others are waste of time :p

I don't understand why not everything in browser?

That is YOUR opinion.

When the iPhone 2G launched, Apple used to have a web apps area. The problem is that HTML5 was only getting started, there wasn't a lot there to work with. The web apps weren't really that great and easily forgettable. It became a haven for junky chat services.

only 92, but I have to agree only use like 4 or 5 on a daily basis.

I JUST LOVE SPARROW (the mail app) - between the iphone and my mac I am completely in love.

I don't have many of them anymore because my original iTunes account was disabled. In the last year and 5 months on my current account, 140. I've deleted half of them from my phone because I don't use them. I still don't use many that I still have on my phone.

I had a habit of downloading every app offered in the apps promo forum just to have them over the years.

HTML5 is coming along, just not very quickly at the moment. It's my first choice on a decent sized screen between 4.7 & 5.0".

Realistically apps as we know & use them now will not be fading away anytime soon.

I use as few as possible since I greatly prefer doing as much as possible using the full desktop web view, not mobile. A retina equipped iPad mini, will replace my iPhone 5 since its obvious Apple is addicted to its current form factor & size.

My current iPad mini is an ideal size for my smartphone needs. Especially since I have little use for the phone.

For calls I always have one of my Android phones, so the iPhone has outlived it's usefulness for me.
