Hi,

My mother bought a MacBook with Leopard and iLife '09 recently. Can I install Leopard and iLife '09 from the discs that came with that on my iMac?
I had assumed not, but the guy at the store said I can.
Is he right?

Cheers.

No. The discs that come with computer are specific to that computer. Not going to work.

Also, please search before you post because this has been discussed before.

Duff-Man says....I wish I had a dollar for every time this question has been asked - I could retire very wealthy.

No, having the discs from one Mac does *not* entitle you to install them wherever you please - that is in violation of the license agreement(s), and the discs shipped with each Mac are specific to that make/model.....oh yeah!
