Well, not new new cuz it is the iPhone 4's design. But you know what I mean... will they keep using it for the next 2 years? 3?
 
Kind of depends on what you think this design language is defined by. For me, this is the first new iPhone design since the introduction of the 6. The 6 to the 11 all had that same basic rounded edge design which I personally never liked, but stuck around for about 6 years. I would bet they’ll keep this design for another three years at least, but as said above i’m sure we’ll get the notchless varation of this design in the next couple years.
