Will you be paying the super subsidized price of 199/299 or 399/499? or the full 599/699

Didn't see a post like this, only about monthly cost.

I will be paying the $399/$499 because last month my iPhone broke, I canceled my data plan (no need for it), and am no longer eligible.

I'm getting the 8GB for 199 because i haven't had a new phone from ATT since i first got my razr (which broke but my sister gave me her old phone so i've been using that.).

It will be $299 for me, plus tax and the possible dock and case for it, plus whatever other crap they decide to charge me for.

Wait, I thought the unsubsidized price was $399 and $499?!

  • 199/299 for upgrade eliagble or new customers, 2 year contract
  • 399/499 for non-upgrade eligable customers, 2 year contract
  • 599/699 for iPhone with no contract

most likely $499 16GB Black

but I'm going to try to get it for $299 as I'm nearing the end of my 2 year contract (October). Might be a stretch but it's worth a shot.

199CHF for 16gb. At work, they have deals with lots of wireless companies around the world and fork over a ton of money every year for service that's virtually unlimited in every aspect in basically every part of the globe. I figured that I'd buy it here in Switzerland seeing as I won't be working elsewhere for a few months. Besides, it would cost more in the US among other places for the same phone.

$199 for the 16GB since I was one of the fools that paid $600 for the first iPhone and I haven't yet spent that $100 Apple store credit that Steve gave the early adopters after the rapid price drop ;)

I'm getting mine for free!

:D I won a new iPhone in an online contest, so I get mine for free. Sure, I won't get it on the 11th, but it's free! I'm excited!
