When snow leaopard was released i did an upgrade.

i have alot of problems i feel.

TotalFinder is totally bugged
and when i try to use PS3 Media server, my ps3 just won't find it.

i have a friend and hes mac does both of these just fine.

i asked him if he could help me, and he said i had to do a clean install.

Does it really helps?

I upgraded both of my computers to Snow Leopard the regular method, and was having not too many problems. But every so often I would get incredibly irritated by the slow downs. So much so that I decided to clean install Snow Leopard on both of my machines. The difference between a clean install and a regular upgrade install is night and day as far as i'm concerned. I'm on 10.6.2 and it is rock solid through and through on a clean install. No more frequent hangups, beachballs and the like. Every app runs smoother than it did prior as well.
