iPhone 8/Plus How much bigger is pro max compared to 8 plus?

is the footprint about the same? i love my 8 plus and got used to the size but the pro max is even bigger - trying to figure out if the difference dis negligible

12 Pro Max: 3.07 x 6.33 in, 228 g

The dimensions of the 12 Pro Max are almost identical to the 6 / 7 / 8 Plus, but it’s a little over 20% heavier due to the steel and glass instead of aluminum.

Thanks all for the quick responses. I'll likely go with the XS max if it's the same footprint. I had no idea apple had the comparison feature on the website.
