How much can a MBP 13" be maxed out??

Does it only accept 4GB of RAM?

No, the 17in model has a faster processor, more L2 cache, and a dedicated graphics card.

Depends what you do. You don't need power of 17" for web surfing and other light usage but for gaming and video editing it's needed

I haven't seen anyone recommending maxing the ram on these (given the current ram pricing), unless it is absolutely needed. 4GB is more than fine for typical-to-power usage.

I am considering a new 13.3" MBP with max ram (8GB) due to the fact I do a ton of virtualization (typically having 2-3 memory heavy VM's open at once). But this usage is atypical.
