Hi guys,

I'm currently thinking of selling my iMac, wanting to upgrade to a gaming PC that i've seen. I rarely use the Mac OS side of it anyway and usually leave it booted in Windows.

I've done a bit of searching online and there are a few similar on ebay, but they are the 3.2GHz variant.

I'll post the specs below:

Ideally I'm wanting to get as close to £700 as possible, the actually condition of the iMac is flawless & I have all the original packaging. The only thing I no longer have is the mouse that came with it as I sold then when purchased.

Many thanks for any advice that you can give

I was in the same situation as you (excellent condition, original packaging, etc.) with… I think it was the entry-tier model of that same generation, but upgraded to 16GB RAM. It sold on eBay for over $700 in the States in auction format – I'm guessing it had at least a shot of selling for more at a fixed price over a month.

The difference between the base 3.2 and better 3.4 GHz is small and won't really affect the value, especially in a used machine. The mouse isn't well liked so won't be an issue. If you only had the Fusion or SSD drive that would boost the value. If the 3.2's are going for £700 in the UK, you should have no trouble getting £700 for yours, but I wouldn't expect more.
